Consistency is difficult

Facing myself everyday is.. interesting to say the least. And living inside this body is weird, but I’m trying not to overthink it.

I’m not yet the full-bearded man I want to be. Or rather, I don’t have the full beard that I want on my face. I know I’m the man I want to be. I always have been. What’s been beautiful is getting to know that man and being allowed to be that man with my wife.

It feels like I have a new best friend everyday with her actually. The excitement and comfort and love I share with her feels so magical with more to learn about her all the time. And maybe it’s the ability to just be me finally and still be loved no matter what I do or don’t do. And the want for my company no matter how I’m feeling or what extent of over-analysis I’m currently in.
